Got a sight of the ground

Had a hot dog on the sidewalk
Wrote some lines in the notebook
And loneliness wrote with me
–
Laugh out loud with the comic
Sang a song in the morning
And loneliness sang with me
–
Fell in love in every crosswalk
And again on the department store
And loneliness fell with me
–
One last falafel in the corner
A big breakfast in a fancy coffee,
And loneliness looked at me
–
Said goodbye to the city
Dream come true, feel I made it
And loneliness said nothing
–
Coming home, looking back
Loneliness is nowhere to be found
Thinking hard, I realized
I only brought my dreams and a new start.
